About Mrs. Neumann

My Friend Sarah and I after completed our 1st half marathon in 2 hours and 9 minutes!!
This will be my 6th year here in Royalton. I teach 10th Grade Biology along with Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science Electives. This year is an exciting one we will be embedding Principles of Biomedical Science into Biology.  I will be teaching Principles of Biomedical Science, and Human Body Systems as electives. I really enjoy the Project Lead the Way Curriculum. It is project based and rigorous as an instructor I had to go to Oklahoma for a two weeks of training for Principles of Biomedical Science along with two weeks of training at SCSU for Human Body Systems. Both PLTW Classes offer SCSU college credit if you get a B or high along with a 4 on the end of the year test no charge to you as a student. Along with being a science teacher here I am also the Middle School Student Council Advisor. Last year’s middle school student council hosted some amazing events, and I am looking forward to even more middle school events this upcoming year. I graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in 2011 with a major in Natural Science and a minor in Secondary Education. I love animals and being active. My hobbies include biking, running, swimming, lacrosse and crafts. I enjoy almost all sports whether it be watching them or playing. I am excited to start teaching and learning about my new students! Feel free to ask me questions and share your interests and hobbies with me!!
