Midwest Student Exchange Program
The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) is a tuition reduction program that makes attending out-of-state-colleges and universities more affordable for non-residents. By enrolling in a MSEP program at a participating institution, you will receive a reduced tuition rate. Nearly one hundred colleges and universities in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin have opened their doors to each others' citizens by offering reduced tuition rates. Get in Touch Foundation Youth Ambassador Collegiate Scholarship
The School Health/Get in Touch Youth Ambassador Collegiate Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $10,000 annually to one high school senior girl who has successfully completed her one-year term as a Get In Touch Youth Ambassador and will be attending a 2 or 4-year university.  For more information on this Scholarship please visit:

Federated Challenge - $1,000-$5,000 per year for a non-four year college.  Application link opens by April 1st.  Deadline to apply is May 1st, 2018.

WWBD Memorial - $500 to college of your choice.  Application link is open now.  Deadline to apply is April 1st, 2018.

Nursing Scholarship - Amount changes each year but minimum is $500 for a student studying to be an RN.  Application link is open now.  Deadline to apply is May 1st, 2018.

iHELP Student Loan Scholarship & iPad giveaway

AreaVibes is announcing a $2,500 essay scholarship!  This scholarship is available to anyone enrolled as a full-time high school student or enrolled in any other accredited institute of higher learning.  You can find information on this scholarship at  Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • must be a legal resident of the United States
  • must be 16-25 years old
  • must be currently attending a high school, University or college during the 2017 calendar year.
  • must provide your 250 word essay (How does Livability play a factor in selecting a college?) before the deadline of May 31, 2018.

Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women
Skin Care Ox is awarding $4,000 per year in college scholarships to support the health of college women.  The scholarship is called The Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women and each quarter they award $1,000 plus a care package filled with healthy organic goodies to young women who are striving to maintain their health and wellness as they pursue their higher education goals.  Eligibility requirements are:
  • Must be a graduating high school senior, current college undergraduate, or current graduate student at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical school in the United States.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must identify as female

Yellow Ribbon Network of Morrison County Scholarship
This $500.00 scholarship is established to honor the men and women who have served our country.  The Morrison County Yellow Ribbon Network is established in the proud history of supporting our nation's military.  Yellow Ribbon support efforts unite key areas within our community to support Service Members and Military Families.  Scholarship Application Requirements are as follows:
  • Applicant must be enrolling in post-secondary education, either a 2 or 4 year college/university or technical college, with a connection to the military (Family - mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter, current member)
  • Application for this scholarship must be completed and returned to your area High School Guidance Department by April 1, 2018.
  • Recipient will be chosen on the basis of scholastic involvement, home and community involvement, and a short essay describing their educational/career goals to include the impact the military has/had on you achieving your goal.
  • Payment of this $500.00 scholarship will be made to the recipient upon completion of their 1st semester of the 1st year.

To help the next generation of leaders with their education expenses today Naked Nutrition is please to offer qualifying students a $1,500 scholarship for the 2018 academic year.  Students must show academic excellence, community involvement, and personal character.  Selection will be merit based.  Eligibility Requirements:

The Minnesota Association of Township (MAT) is proud to announce its 2018 Scholarship Program, which awards up to six $1,000 scholarships to high school juniors.  All students currently enrolled in the 11th grade and attending a Minnesota public, private, or parochial high school or a home study program are eligible for this program.  Participants will submit a written essay on the theme of MAT's 2018 Educational Conference "Powering our Future:  Energy to Build on in Your Township."  Applications are available in the CRC and the application deadline is May 1, 2018.

Lakes Area Manufacturing Alliance (LAMA) is pleased to award scholarships to students enrolling/enrolled in manufacturing program(s) to earn post-secondary certificates and degrees in manufacturing careers.  Scholarship awards will be $1,000 and are an investment in the future of Central Minnesota's manufacturing industry.  Eligibility requirements are:
  • Must be or soon to be a high school graduate (or have a GED) who will be enrolling as a full-time student at an accredited Minnesota college or university.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must reside in the counties of Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd or Wadena
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must be pursuing a degree in a qualifying manufacturing related major
Application deadline is July 1, 2018.

Cooperative Resources International (CRI) is accepting applications for its 2018 collegiate scholarship.  A minimum of six scholarships valued at $750 each will be awarded to youth pursuing undergraduate degrees in agricultural fields.  The collegiate scholarship is available to undergraduate students attending a four-year college/university or two-year technical college this fall.  In addition to pursuing a degree in an agricultural field, applicants must be affiliated with a member of one of CRI's cooperative businesses (GENEX or AgSource) by having an active role in the member's dairy or ranch.  Click here for more information on this scholarship.  The deadline to apply is March 31, 2018.

Unite For Success St. Cloud Builder's Exchange Scholarship
Attention Seniors - there is a new scholarship available to you!  St. Cloud Builder's Exchange has made two $1,000 scholarships available to seniors in the Central Minnesota area (including Royalton.)  The recipient of these scholarships must be planning to attend St. Cloud Technical & Community College and planning on studying one of the following trades:
  • Construction
  • Welding/Fabrication
  • Plumbing
  • HVAC
  • Electrical
  • Carpentry
  • Architect
  • Painting
  • Carpenter
  • Roofing
  • Refrigeration
  • Welder

Recent legislation has awarded $2,500 scholarships as an incentive for students graduating high school in 2018 to enter high growth, high demand occupations in the areas of manufacturing, healthcare, information technology and agriculture.  Central Lakes College will be offering sixteen (16) of these scholarships to area high school students.  These targeted scholarships will help encourage our local talent to remain in area communities and answer the demand for highly skilled workers.  To be eligible, students must be 2018 graduates, accepted into a CLC manufacturing, healthcare, information technology or agriculture program, and have completed the FAFSA.  Students can apply for the Workforce Development Scholarship by visiting the web page link here.  Applications are due March 9, 2018. Sports & Orthopaedic Specialists and Allina Health are proud to present the 11th annual Minnesota Athletes in Sports Medicine Scholarship.  Two $2,500 scholarships are available and will be awarded to one male and one female graduating high school student athlete who intend to pursue a professional career in sports medicine.  Qualified candidates should demonstrate leadership, be actively involved in their community and interscholastic sports and achieve academic success.  Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists and Allina Health Minnesota Athletes in Sports Medicine Scholarship criteria:
  • Graduating high school senior from the state of Minnesota
  • Planning on attending a four-year college or university within the United States.
  • Involved in an interscholastic sport each of their 4 years in high school.
  • Intending to major in a field related to sports medicine.
  • Application deadline:  Must be postmarked by May 1, 2018.

The SFM Foundation offers post-secondary education scholarships to the natural, adopted, step-child or full dependent of a worker injured or killed on the job while working for a Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa employer.  Applications for the 2018-2019 academic year are accepted until March 31, 2018.  Please check out this link for more details.

The American Lung Association in Minnesota on behalf of the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council is announcing scholarships available to all current high school seniors in the state of Minnesota.  They're asking students to submit a brief (1,000 words or less) essay OR a brief (three minutes or less) video on the topic of biodiesel.  Two scholarships will be awarded.  The first place finisher will receive a $1,000 scholarship; the second place finisher will receive a $500 scholarship.  All essays, videos and application materials must be submitted by 4:30 PM on Friday, March 30, 2018.  Students can apply for the scholarship online at
