Midwest Student Exchange Program
The Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) is a tuition reduction program that makes attending out-of-state-colleges and universities more affordable for non-residents. By enrolling in a MSEP program at a participating institution, you will receive a reduced tuition rate. Nearly one hundred colleges and universities in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wisconsin have opened their doors to each others' citizens by offering reduced tuition rates. Rove Pest Control Scholarship
Applicants must be Class of 2017 graduates and must be attending college by the Fall 2017 semester and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.  This scholarship is open to anyone seeking a higher education.

Review 10s Student Scholarship Program
"Empowering the Education for All Students" Scholarship is available for current and past Royalton Middle/High School Students.  The scholarship is valued at $1000 a year.  Learn more about this by going to

Cosmetology Advancement Scholarship
Royalton High School has received two (2) cosmetology advancement scholarships/grants.  To validate this award, the person issued this award must visit the campus with the award letter and the college representative will validate the award.  Minnesota's most established Cosmetology College is the Model College of Hair Design, St. Cloud Minnesota - http://www.mcohd.com Tours of the Model College of Hair Design are available Monday - Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Get in Touch Foundation Youth Ambassador Collegiate Scholarship
The School Health/Get in Touch Youth Ambassador Collegiate Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $10,000 annually to one high school senior girl who has successfully completed her one-year term as a Get In Touch Youth Ambassador and will be attending a 2 or 4-year university.  For more information on this Scholarship please visit:  http://getintouchfoundation.org/git-involved/youth-ambassador-scholarship/




Parentinn's Cyberbullying Prevention Scholarship
In an effort to the cause of preventing cyberbullying, Parentinn has created the "Cyberbullying Prevention for Teens Scholarship" for High School students.  Parentinn has achieved a major impact on raising awareness of Cyberbullying to all students.  The award is $1,250 for Undergraduate or Postgraduate students and $1,250 for High School students.  Link to the Scholarship can be found here:  http://www.parentinn.com/scholarship  Application deadline is February 28, 2018.



 
BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Federated Challenge - $1,000-$5,000 per year for a non-four year college.  Application link opens by April 1st.  Deadline to apply is May 1st, 2018.

WWBD Memorial - $500 to college of your choice.  Application link is open now.  Deadline to apply is April 1st, 2018.

Nursing Scholarship - Amount changes each year but minimum is $500 for a student studying to be an RN.  Application link is open now.  Deadline to apply is May 1st, 2018.

Feldco Windows, Siding and Doors Scholarship
Feldco is a family-owned exterior home improvement company that specializes in replacement windows, siding, doors and garage doors.  More importantly, we are proud to have served over 350,000 homeowners across the Midwest with outstanding products and service.  We've also created countless jobs for hundreds of hard-working employees with the job security that comes with a reputable company that has been around since 1956.  We refer to all of our employees as "Feldco Family" because they embody what makes our company what it is today.  We're proud to offer this scholarship to a worthy applicant that best describes how their family has contributed to who they are today.  So here's the question:  "How has your family contributed to who you are today?"  Tell us your unique story, starting with an introduction about who you are, your background and how your family has contributed to who you are as an individual.  Acceptable essays will be between 700-1000 words long.  To be eligible for the Feldco Windows, Siding & Doors Scholarship, you must be:
  • a legal US resident
  • a current undergraduate college student or a current high school student that will be enrolled in a college/university in 2017-18
Proof of enrollment must be provided with your email submission. This can include a digital scan of your unofficial transcript, letter from admissions or acceptance letter on a school letterhead.  Application deadline is January 15, 2018.



Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation Scholarships

iHELP Student Loan Scholarship & iPad giveaway
Reunion Student Loan Finance/iHELP Student Loan gives away three $1,000 scholarships and an iPad in Minnesota.  These scholarships are awarded to high school seniors attending a college, university or technical institute for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Apply here.  For more information or questions regarding this scholarship/giveaway please contact Maria Sevareid at marias@slfc.com or call Maria at 605-622-4507.  The random drawing is held in April 2018.  Application deadline is March 31, 2018.



ALPHA KAPPA PSI SCHOLARSHIP
Considering attending the Carlson School at the University of Minnesota?  Apply for an Alpha Kappa Psi Scholarship!  Alpha Kappa Psi is a co-ed professional business fraternity at the University of Minnesota.  Receiving a scholarship does not obligate the student to join the student chapter.  More details about our scholarship program as well as the application can be found on our website at:  http://www.akpsischolarships.org

What you need to know:
  • Once accepted to the Carlson School, you are eligible to apply for an Alpha Kappa Psi Scholarship.
  • Criteria include:  Strong academic performance, demonstrated leadership and involvement.  Some scholarships require you demonstrate a financial need.  Finalists will complete an in-person interview.
  • Last year, the Alpha Kappa Psi Scholarship Fund awarded incoming freshman scholarship packages worth between $5,000 and $20,000.


E-CIGARETTE REVIEWED SCHOLARSHIP

VIDEO GAME DESIGN SCHOLARSHIP
GameDesigning.org is informing students that they are giving away a $1,000 scholarship.  To further opportunities and assist students with their educational goals, undergraduate and graduate students who will be attending an accredited university or college are eligible to apply for this scholarship.  They are inviting the Senior HS students of Royalton High and Middle Schools to apply.

DOUGLAS D. HANSON ARCHITECTURE SCHOLARSHIP
You could receive $5,000 or $10,000 per year to study architecture or landscape architecture at North Dakota State University.  Diverse perspectives and experiences lead to more creative design, better leadership and overall advancement of both fields.  Preference for this scholarship is given to students from underrepresented ethnic groups in the architecture and landscape architecture programs, with priority given to Black/African American and Native American students.  Students must also carry a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher.  To be eligible, students must be:
  • Enrolled as a full-time student at NDSU
  • Enrolled in pre-architecture, pre-landscape architecture or continuing as a major in either program.

AREAVIBES SHORT ESSAY SCHOLARSHIP
AreaVibes is announcing a $2,500 essay scholarship!  This scholarship is available to anyone enrolled as a full-time high school student or enrolled in any other accredited institute of higher learning.  You can find information on this scholarship at http://www.areavibes.com/scholarships/  Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • must be a legal resident of the United States
  • must be 16-25 years old
  • must be currently attending a high school, University or college during the 2017 calendar year.

"Unite for Success" Central Minnesota Farm Show Committee Scholarship
There will be five $1,000 scholarships available.  Eligibility requirements are:
  • applicant must be planning to study an agricultural-related area after high school
  • applicant must display volunteerism
  • applicant must display leadership
  • applicant must be active in extra-curricular programs
  • applicant must be active in community
  • applicant must display financial need
Applications are available in the CRC.  Deadline to submit applications to the CRC is January 26, 2018.



Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women
Skin Care Ox is awarding $4,000 per year in college scholarships to support the health of college women.  The scholarship is called The Beauty + Wellness Scholarship for Women and each quarter they award $1,000 plus a care package filled with healthy organic goodies to young women who are striving to maintain their health and wellness as they pursue their higher education goals.  Eligibility requirements are:
  • Must be a graduating high school senior, current college undergraduate, or current graduate student at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical school in the United States.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must identify as female
  • We welcome all majors and GPA's to apply

Yellow Ribbon Network of Morrison County Scholarship
This $500.00 scholarship is established to honor the men and women who have served our country.  The Morrison County Yellow Ribbon Network is established in the proud history of supporting our nation's military.  Yellow Ribbon support efforts unite key areas within our community to support Service Members and Military Families.  Scholarship Application Requirements are as follows:
  • Applicant must be enrolling in post-secondary education, either a 2 or 4 year college/university or technical college, with a connection to the military (Family - mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter, current member)
  • Application for this scholarship must be completed and returned to your area High School Guidance Department by April 1, 2018.
  • Recipient will be chosen on the basis of scholastic involvement, home and community involvement, and a short essay describing their educational/career goals to include the impact the military has/had on you achieving your goal.
  • Payment of this $500.00 scholarship will be made to the recipient upon completion of their 1st semester of the 1st year.

NAKED NUTRITION SCHOLARSHIP
To help the next generation of leaders with their education expenses today Naked Nutrition is please to offer qualifying students a $1,500 scholarship for the 2018 academic year.  Students must show academic excellence, community involvement, and personal character.  Selection will be merit based.  Eligibility Requirements:
  • Be accepted or enrolled at a college or university
  • Exhibit notable achievements
  • At least one year of academic excellence

MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION OF TOWNSHIP (MAT) SCHOLARSHIP
The Minnesota Association of Township (MAT) is proud to announce its 2018 Scholarship Program, which awards up to six $1,000 scholarships to high school juniors.  All students currently enrolled in the 11th grade and attending a Minnesota public, private, or parochial high school or a home study program are eligible for this program.  Participants will submit a written essay on the theme of MAT's 2018 Educational Conference "Powering our Future:  Energy to Build on in Your Township."  Applications are available in the CRC and the application deadline is May 1, 2018.
